I have worked as Continuity on two short films as a Continuity supervisor - sometimes called a script supervisor, and abbreviated referred to 'Continuity' in credits. I was in charge of making sure that the scenes filmed out of sequence make sense and don't have any continuity mistakes when edited together, as well as filling in the Continuity logs and timing the roll time.
Dove
Orange sky. Birds flying. Doves. A bloody hammer.
A dovecote is retrieved from a skip. The birds inside are still and silent. But if Doves are supposed to be symbols of peace, then why does Flo feel so unnerved? As flashes of violent memory erupt in her mind, Flo struggles with the weight of her dark past.
Filmed in the course of a week between a dairy farm just outside of Cardiff and an abandoned building in the middle of Cardiff Bay. This short film was created as a part of the RWCMD Short film festival in 2020.
